I've read literally
thousands of pages of information about
Sarbanes-Oxley, and almost every compliance
book... I know that a good book is a great
personal assistant for compliance.
But… Is it readable… or
dry and boring? Does it cover the important
issues? Is it hands on? Are there examples? Does
it provide with clear explanations of key
elements of Sarbanes Oxley? Is it an
introduction to Sarbanes Oxley, or a book for
experienced professionals?

Do you remember
William Donaldson, the SEC Chairman?
“Simply complying with the rules is not enough.
Companies should, make this approach part of
their DNA. If companies view the new laws as
opportunities — opportunities to improve
internal controls, improve the performance of
the board, and improve their public reporting —
they will ultimately be better run, more
transparent, and therefore more attractive to
investors.”
William Donaldson, SEC Chairman
This is the role
of books like "Beyond Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance
: Effective Enterprise Risk Management". I liked
it.

A strange book!
I loved it. But
it is not about Sarbanes oxley compliance! It is
about Oracle, Oracle Security and Auditing.
If you know well
what Sarbanes Oxley is, it is an excellent book.
If you buy this book to understand what is
Sarbanes Oxley, you are one more victim of
"offensive marketing"
